Doctor Waiver for safe Vaccinations!

So many of us have questioned what vaccinations contain and how they are affecting our children.  Especially with so many disorders on the rise such as autism which many studies have linked to vaccinations.   Well, what if thee were a waiver you could bring with you to your Doctor when you brought your child in for their checkup which essentially requires your Doc to legally say that they are aware of the contents of the vaccination and it’s possible harmful effects?  Spread the word!

 Thanks to Dr. Rapp and her blog for sharing this awesome waiver as well as for designing it !  Here is a preview below with an impressive list of possible ingredients you could find in your childs vaccination.  To print a copy to bring to your physician please visit:

I (Physician’s name, degree) _______________ , _____ am a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State/Province of _________ . My State/Provincial license number is ___________ , and my DEA number is ____________ . My medical specialty is _______________ .

I have a thorough understanding of the risks and benefits of all the medications that I prescribe for or administer to my patients. In the case of (Patient’s name) ______________ , age _____ , whom I have examined, I find that certain risk factors exist that justify the recommended vaccinations. The following is a list of said risk factors and the vaccinations that will protect against them:
Risk Factor __________________________
Vaccination __________________________
Risk Factor __________________________
Vaccination __________________________
Risk Factor __________________________
Vaccination __________________________

I am aware that vaccines may contain many of the following chemicals, excipients, preservatives and fillers:

* aluminum hydroxide
* aluminum phosphate
* ammonium sulfate
* amphotericin B
* animal tissues: pig blood, horse blood, rabbit brain
* arginine hydrochloride
* dog kidney, monkey kidney
* dibasic potassium phosphate
* chick embryo, chicken egg, duck egg
* calf (bovine) serum
* betapropiolactone
* fetal bovine serum
* formaldehyde
* formalin
* gelatin
* gentamicin sulfate
* glycerol
* human diploid cells (originating from human aborted fetal tissue)
* hydrocortisone
* hydrolyzed gelatin
* mercury thimerosol (thimerosal, Merthiolate(r))
* monosodium glutamate (MSG)
* monobasic potassium phosphate
* neomycin
* neomycin sulfate
* nonylphenol ethoxylate
* octylphenol ethoxylate
* octoxynol 10
* phenol red indicator
* phenoxyethanol (antifreeze)
* potassium chloride
* potassium diphosphate
* potassium monophosphate
* polymyxin B
* polysorbate 20
* polysorbate 80
* porcine (pig) pancreatic hydrolysate of casein
* residual MRC5 proteins
* sodium deoxycholate
* sorbitol
* thimerosal
* tri(n)butylphosphate,
* VERO cells, a continuous line of monkey kidney cells, and
* washed sheep red blood

and, hereby, warrant that these ingredients are safe for injection into the body of my patient. I have researched reports to the contrary, such as reports that mercury thimerosal causes severe neurological and immunological damage, and find that they are not credible.

I am aware that some vaccines have been found to have been contaminated with Simian Virus 40 (SV 40) and that SV 40 is causally linked by some researchers to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and mesotheliomas in humans as well as in experimental animals. I hereby warrant that the vaccines I employ in my practice do not contain SV 40 or any other live viruses. (Alternately, I hereby warrant that said SV-40 virus or other viruses pose no substantive risk to my patient.)

I hereby warrant that the vaccines I am recommending for the care of (Patient’s name) _______________ do not contain any tissue from aborted human babies (also known as “fetuses”).

In order to protect my patient’s well being, I have taken the following steps to guarantee that the vaccines I will use will contain no damaging contaminants.

STEPS TAKEN: __________________________

I have personally investigated the reports made to the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) and state that it is my professional opinion that the vaccines I am recommending are safe for administration to a child under the age of 5 years.

The bases for my opinion are itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto, — “Physician’s Bases for Professional Opinion of Vaccine Safety.” (Please itemize each recommended vaccine separately along with the bases for arriving at the conclusion that the vaccine is safe for administration to a child under the age of 5 years.)

The professional journal articles I have relied upon in the issuance of this Physician’s Warranty of Vaccine Safety are itemized on Exhibit B, attached hereto, — “Scientific Articles in Support of Physician’s Warranty of Vaccine Safety.”

The professional journal articles that I have read which contain opinions adverse to my opinion are itemized on Exhibit C, attached hereto, — “Scientific Articles Contrary to Physician’s Opinion of Vaccine Safety.”

The reasons for my determining that the articles in Exhibit C were invalid are delineated in Attachment D, attached hereto, — “Physician’s Reasons for Determining the Invalidity of Adverse Scientific Opinions.”

Hepatitis B

I understand that 60 percent of patients who are vaccinated for Hepatitis B will lose detectable antibodies to Hepatitis B within 12 years. I understand that in 1996 only 54 cases of Hepatitis B were reported to the CDC in the 0-1 year age group. I understand that in the VAERS, there were 1,080 total reports of adverse reactions from Hepatitis B vaccine in 1996 in the 0-1 year age group, with 47 deaths reported.

I understand that 50 percent of patients who contract Hepatitis B develop no symptoms after exposure. I understand that 30 percent will develop only flu-like symptoms and will have lifetime immunity. I understand that 20 percent will develop the symptoms of the disease, but that 95 percent will fully recover and have lifetime immunity.

I understand that 5 percent of the patients who are exposed to Hepatitis B will become chronic carriers of the disease. I understand that 75 percent of the chronic carriers will live with an asymptomatic infection and that only 25 percent of the chronic carriers will develop chronic liver disease or liver cancer, 10-30 years after the acute infection. The following scientific studies have been performed to demonstrate the safety of the Hepatitis B vaccine in children under the age of 5 years.

In addition to the recommended vaccinations as protections against the above cited risk factors, I have recommended other non-vaccine measures to protect the health of my patient and have enumerated said non-vaccine measures on Exhibit D, attached hereto, “Non-vaccine Measures to Protect Against Risk Factors.” I am issuing this Physician’s Warranty of Vaccine Safety in my professional capacity as the attending physician to (Patient’s name) ________________________________. Regardless of the legal entity under which I normally practice medicine, I am issuing this statement in both my business and individual capacities and hereby waive any statutory, Common Law, Constitutional, UCC, international treaty, and any other legal immunities from liability lawsuits in the instant case. I issue this document of my own free will after consultation with competent legal counsel whose name is _____________________________ , an attorney admitted to the Bar in the State of __________________ .

A sad but inspiring story!

I mentioned the PLACE method in a previous post and I wanted to share a real life story about the power it can have.  This is a heart wrending story so if you are a cryer, you may want a box of tissues at hand! =)  Real names are not used to protect identity.

Micheal was a foster parent.  He took in mostly children from abusive backgrounds who had issues with incontinence, obesity, etc.  He related this story about one child of nine years he had in his care who we will call Shawn.  One day while he was going through the house collecting laundry from the bed rooms for his trip to the laundromat he walked into Shawns bedroom and was immediately overwhelmed by the smell of urine.  Michael felt a little frustrated, it was not the first time he had come into Shawns room to find this smell.

Micheal continued to collect laundry and put his mind to the task of figuring out what exactly was going on that Shawn would feel the need to do this.  Was he hiding his underwear that he had an accident in because he was afraid he would get into trouble for the accident?  Micheal did not believe this was the case since they had talked about it before and Micheal had assured Shawn that he would not be in trouble but they did need to work on resolving his issues with having accidents.  Michael realized what he had to do and resolved to do it that evening.

When Shawn arrived home from school, Micheal stopped him before he walked upstairs.  He stood by the counter and had on a sad countenance.  ” Shawn, I would like to talk to you for a minute please.”

Shawns eyes traveled to the laundry bags and he he stiffened.  Micheal could see he was obviously scared.  Shawn had lived with him for almost half a year at this point and he wondered when that haunted look would ever leave this childs eyes.   Micheal turned so he was more facing Shawn and quietly said in a voice that he hoped was soothing,” Shawn.  I want you to know you are not in trouble.  I just need some help.”

Shawn was surprised and taken a  little off guard by this,” Help?  With what?”

” I just need to be able to understand it.  Can you please help me to understand why?  Please, I have to know!”

Shawns lip trembled.  This was a child who in the time he had been with Micheal had showed little emotion except for the occasional fear that crossed his countenance when he couldn’t stop it.  Shawn sat at the bottom of the stairs he had been standing near and his story spilled from his lips.  Micheal had heard most of it already from the case workers but this was Shawns moment.  His turn to relate his experience as only he could.

”  When I lived with my Mom, I had problems making it to the bathroom.  I would be afraid and want to hide it but she would know.  She would always know and she would make me..” he cleared his throat as tears streamed down his face. ” She would take me out in front of the house and make me sit on the little chair there.  She would put my wet underwear on my head.  I would sit there smelling the smell and hear her calling to people walking by to look at her son.  Her little sissy pissy pants!  I still have problems making it sometimes.  I get this knot in my stomach and I don’t know what to do.  So I smell the underwear and it makes the knot go away.”

Micheal went to the know sobbing Shawn with tears in his own eyes hoping he could make it through the next part without them spilling.  This was such a critical moment for the two of them but especially for Shawn.  In his hand he had a bag.  Just a plain plastic shopping bag which he held out to Shawn.  ”  I want you to take this.  I want you to gather up the underwear you have in your room and put it in here.” Shawn looked like he might protest but Micheal continued,”  I want you to to put it in a safe place in your room.”

Confused,” Wait!  I can keep them?”

Micheal nodded.  ”  The only request I make of you is when you feel the need to take out the bag, please come get me.  I want to be there with you.  Noone should ever have to feel that way especially alone.  You don’t have to talk to me or anything.  I just want to sit with you so you know you aren’t alone and if you want, I will hold your hand!”

Shawn did as he was asked.  Over the course of the next few months Shawn had fewer and fewer accidents and he started being able to express other emotions.  Just through that act of empathy and understanding he recevied he moved down the road to recovery.

There is great power in empathy, compassion and understanding.  I hope you came away from this story with the magic of a little hope in your hearts.

Interesting thoughts on basal cortisol

Basal cortisol is found in the adrenal glands and plays a pretty important role in the fight or flight response.
The topic of increased cortisol levels and its effects came up in a class I was taking and the instructor said something which made my wheels start turning.
In children who are physically neglected, basal cortisol levels are higher than normal. The way he put it was, the switch that resides in those of us that turns on and off the hormones which aid us during those fight or flight moments is broken. So, when you get scared you experience that rush of adrenaline and once your body recognizes that there is no threat or need for the extra energy, etc. the switch turns off the pump of chemicals fueling your energy. If that switch is broken, well the brain keeps sending out those chemicals. So essentially, you are cleaning and think you are by yourself. You didn’t realize that one of the kids came home and they sneak up on you. Well, you shriek, jump and feel your heart rate accelerate. That adrenaline is pumping. You realize it is just one of the kids and you laugh and your body begins to slow back down. This is a normal reaction but for those with that broken switch, it takes alot longer for their bodies to return to normal.
My thoughts went like this, Josh was so sick when he was a baby. His very first appointment at three weeks he was admitted with bronchiolitis. I remember the nurse trying to listen to his little heart and pulling back with a concerned look. She turned to my doctor and said I think you need to listen. The doctor takes over and she is immediately concerned. The poor kid is so junky sounding they could barely hear his heart over the sound of his breathing. First hospitalization….So, it began….. He always seemed to be sick. He would have a loose bowel movement with every bottle before he was finished. Well, we switched his formula to a soy-based formula. A little better but still the same issues and his breathing remained the same. Before the age of one, Josh had been diagnosed with asthma. At no time did allergies come up. Josh was put on a nebulizer in which he was treated with a dose of pulmicort in the morning and one at night. This is similar to those Advair inhalers given to those with asthma as a maintenance medication. He also had albuterol respules for as needed. Well, I’m not sure if you know this, but pulmicort is milk based.
Do you see where I am going with this? At the age of eight I finally had him allergy tested. What was he allergic to? Milk and soy to name a few. So, his body was having an adverse reaction to the very thing that was supposed to be sustaining him. His food and then the medicine he was put on due to respiratory issues which were probably a result of his allergy. One of the things which can be found in those that are physically neglected is that they are hungry, all the time. So, to look at it from a different perspective, if what you are eating is causing a severe immune reaction from your body, wouldn’t you essentially be starving? I have four other children, all of which have been at the top of the growth charts for height and weight. Josh was just barely on it, to the point our doctor had him tested for CF(cystic fibrosis). In trying to take care of my child, we were putting his body under attack.
Well, traveling down this road, I decided to take a leaf out of Piagets book and do some of my own observations. Well, here is one observation which leaned in favor of my new theory:
I was sitting with Josh on one side of me and my older daughter, Ashley on the other side. Both children were doing their homework. Josh was doing his very quietly and contentedly. Ashley on the other hand was doing Math. Urgh, her least favorite subject. We were having a loud discussion how I would help her but not actually do the problem for her(which she was really, REALLY trying to figure out how to make me do, lol). My husband works third shift and was at the time sleeping. Well, our loud discussion woke him up. So, Dad came out of the bedroom and said to Ashley and I with a pointed look, ” Well you two don’t like to be very quiet.” Josh had been quietly doing his homework through all of this, but when this statement was made, he looked up and was like ” What?” Obviously upset. Dad smiled and said, ” not you buddy. You were very quiet.” Josh did not seem to hear this because that adrenaline was already pumping. He went from calm, content Josh to bouncing on the furniture, quite upset and unreasonable Josh in a matter of seconds and it took us an hour and a half to calm him down.
Ahha! I was armed with knowledge. Knowledge of the possible chemical reaction that had taken place and hopefully the means to retrain his brain. At this point we had already discovered his allergiens and eliminated them from his diet. So, now the last piece to this puzzle.
We used a method referred to as PLACE! Playful, Loving, Accepting, Curious and Empathatic. Have you ever tried to reason with an angry person? Chances are you have and you really haven’t gotten anywhere. Using this method can have remarkable results towards calming. If you are upset and believe something about yourself and you put it out there to someone and say, they come back at you and say that’s not true. They have just negated your feelings. They have told you you are wrong. Instead of putting you in a position to be more calm, they have succeeded in getting your back up. Now you need to defend your position. For those children who have a hard time relinquishing, this technique can be wonderful. Think of it in these terms, a child who has self-esteem issues. They say, Nobody likes me! To them, this is a true statement. If you say that’s not true, they can lose their trust in you and you can do nothing to help them. So how do you help them then without telling them that it is true. You EMPATHIZE! That has got to be a really heavy load to carry around. The feeling that noone likes you. You acknowledged the statement, their feelings and you told them you realize it is a hard thing to deal with. It gives them a chance to give a little more. I guess my point it that this method is less likely to spark that adrenalized reaction and can help teach a new way to face problems and emotions.

Enjoy life! Never give up hope!
